Lynnette Ball McGee


Lynnette Ball McGee enjoys a varied and active career as an organ recitalist and teacher, collaborative musician, and conductor. Currently, Ms. McGee serves as the Director of Music and Organist of the First Presbyterian Church in Fullerton, conducting the chancel choir, handbell choir, and coordinating the Friends of Music concert series. As an organ recitalist, she has performed numerous concerts, with recent performances in Strasbourg, France, and at Chapman University's televised Wassail Concert. She has held teaching positions at Concordia University, California State University, Fullerton, and Biola University in addition to maintaining a private organ and piano studio.

Lynnette earned her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in Organ Performance from California State University, Fullerton, studying with Esther Jones. She graduated with highest honors and was named Outstanding Performer in Keyboard Studies. She is currently a Doctoral of Music Arts candidate at Claremont Graduate University, studying organ with Dr. Carey Robertson. Her passion for learning has been the catalyst for her trips to Europe, studying with world renowned teachers and performing on historic instruments in France, England, Holland, Spain, and Switzerland.
